Three Pioneers. One unforgettable season.
Western Oklahoma State College Baseball continued to make its mark in Region 2 this season as Alexander Mendoza Jr., Jeylem Sepulveda, and Jace Trull were all recognized with NJCAA Region 2 honors following standout performances throughout the 2025-26 campaign.
Alexander Mendoza Jr. emerged as one of the most dangerous hitters in the region, finishing the season batting .427 with 82 hits, 19 home runs, and 56 RBIs while providing consistency and leadership in the middle of the Pioneer lineup.
Jeylem Sepulveda made a major impact both at the plate and on the mound for Western. Sepulveda finished with a 2.73 ERA.
On the mound, Jace Trull established himself as one of the top pitchers in the conference, finishing the year with a 2.49 ERA — one of the best marks in Region 2 — while consistently delivering quality innings in key conference matchups and postseason play.
The trio played a huge role in helping the Pioneers earn a postseason berth and finish 4th in the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament this spring.
Congratulations to Alexander, Jeylem, and Jace on an outstanding season and well-deserved Region 2 recognition.
