Three Pioneers Earn All-Region Honors Following Strong 2026 Season

The Western Oklahoma State College Softball program earned well-deserved recognition following the 2026 season as three Pioneer student-athletes were named to the All-Region Team for their outstanding performances throughout the year.

Sophomore Dani Kowalik earned All-Region First Team honors after serving as one of the Pioneers' top contributors all season long. Kowalik was a consistent force both offensively and defensively, helping lead Western Oklahoma State through conference play and postseason competition with her leadership, versatility, and competitive presence.

Joining Kowalik on the All-Region list were Victoria Serrano and Jaycee South, who both earned All-Region Second Team honors.

Serrano played a major role for the Pioneers throughout the season, delivering key offensive performances while making an impact defensively in the lineup. Her consistency and ability to come through in important moments made her an important piece of the Pioneer success throughout the year.

South proved to be one of the most dynamic players in the region, using her speed and athleticism to create opportunities offensively while also making an impact defensively for Western Oklahoma State. Her ability to change games with her energy and playmaking ability helped the Pioneers compete at a high level throughout the season.

The All-Region honors reflect the hard work, dedication, and commitment each athlete displayed throughout the year and highlight the continued growth and success of Pioneer Softball.
