Western is proud to introduce Ty Atchison as WOSC Rodeo's new Roughstock Coach!
A National Finals Rodeo qualifier and standout collegiate cowboy, Ty has built a reputation as one of rodeo's toughest and most respected competitors. During his time at the University of Tennessee, he competed in saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, and team roping, all while earning two degrees before taking his talents to the professional circuit.
Now retired from competition, Ty continues to be a vital part of the sport as one of professional rodeo's most trusted pickup men, working with Frontier Rodeo, the 10-time PRCA Stock Contractor of the Year. Known for his sharp instincts, calm presence, and fearless leadership in the arena, he's the kind of cowboy you want on your team when the stakes are high.
As Western's new Roughstock Coach, Ty brings not only elite rodeo experience but also a commitment to mentoring the next generation of student-athletes. His career reflects the heart of a true Pioneer- hard work, courage, and dedication- and we're thrilled to have him leading our team.
